BOWLERS in Largs have thanked the local travel firm who sponsored a recent competition at the club.
Twenty-six players took part in the Thorne Travel Competition at Largs Bowling Club, one of two events sponsored by the company at the club each year.
Peter Eager, Norrie Hollywood and Bill Pickering emerged as the winners, while the runners-up were Margaret Reat, Margaret Brown and Lesley Lawrie.
A club spokesperson said: "Thank you to the players for their support of Thorne Travel in sponsoring this event. A lovely day was had by all."
