Largs Colts Girls S1 team continued their journey toward competitive football with a friendly on Thursday night at Kilwinning Sports Club.
The girls produced a tremendous battling performance against much more streetwise opponents and although the girls more than held their own for long spells, their opponents' experience told in the end.
It has been a promising start for the S1 team and it is hoped that more games will follow after an appeal was put out over the summer for the new team.
