IT is congratulations to West Kilbride Tennis Club who are the masters of Ayrshire in senior tennis.

The over 45s league completes the summer season over August and September, played on Sunday afternoons, with some fixtures in midweek too.

The club, formed in 2016, is continuing to go from strength to strength with 200 members, and have now triumphed with the Division One title in the senior over 45s league.

And West Kilbride 2 also managed to retain their place in the Senior Doubles Division, with Largs Tennis Club finishing one place below in fifth, and Ayr Lawn 1 relegated.

West Kilbride celebrated with the first side playing the second side in a friendly fixture last Friday evening followed by hospitality in the clubhouse at the season's end.
