LARGS Thistle Curling Club is continuing to move from strength to strength and has managed to recruit some new members.
The most recent competition for the President's Shield took place in November.
Skip and vice president Gus Wallace was presented with the trophy by president Chris Totten.
The winning team was made up of Gus Wallace, Linn Munton, Anne Johnston and Henry Kerr.
The curling club is the longest established sports club in the town dating back over 200 years to 1813, and one of the oldest curling clubs in the world.
They are a friendly club and have a strong membership but are always looking for new members who wish to engage in the exciting and skilled game of curling.
They have games suitable for all ages in both mixed and single sex teams.
