A man has tragically died after collapsing in a shop in Largs.

Emergency service staff rushed to Aulds in Aitken Street on Saturday evening.

Police received the emergency call out at 5.20pm.

A spokesman said: “Police received a report of a man having collapsed within Aulds Bakers premises in Largs.

“An ambulance also attended but the male could not be revived and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

“Police are still at the scene and the death is not being treated as suspicious at this time.”
