A body has been found in the search for a man missing from West Kilbride.
The was found by police within Carrick Forest near Loch Doon around 3:55pm on Wednesday November 9.
Formal identification has yet to take place, but the family of 51-year-old Mark Goldie, reported missing from West Kilbride, has been made aware.
The death is being treated as unexplained but is not believed to be suspicious.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
