It is a new era at Barrfields as Stuart Davidson has taken over the Largs Thistle hotseat, but had strong words of praise for the outgoing Bryan Slavin.
Both Bryan and Stuart were the midfield generals of successful Scottish Cup winning squads at Auchinleck Talbot for many years, and they were also a formidable partnership as the management at Barrfields over recent years.
Coach Drew Walsh has also left the Barrfields club after Thistle's sixth straight defeat in the McBookie.com Premier Division.
And Stuart has hailed the impact that Bryan, pictured above, had at Barrfields: "Bryan has his reasons for leaving and it is not just footballing reasons, and he leaves the club as a hero for what he has done and achieved, and we wish him and Drew all the best."
Stuart's first game in charge comes against Wishaw in the first round of the West of Scotland Cup at Barrfields on Saturday, 2pm kick-off.
